The FD-Pharma^® is the liquid unit dose packaging solution for small pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) seeking to grow their market base with greater packaging capabilities. The system is also a reliable alternative for Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDA) where initial volumes are too small to be contracted with a CDMO. It is a tabletop self-contained complete liquid unit dose proven solution which includes the packaging system, barcode labeling software, die cut lidding and all required materials.

Automated cup indexer

Two cup magazines
each holds up to 180 large or 300 medium/small cups

Seal temperature control set at 220°C
programmable range is 150°C to 230°C

Interface contains resistive touchscreen controls

Dual stainless steel positive displacement pumps

Pumping setup
(syringe, tubing and pinch valves) are customizable

Die cut feature trims the lidding to the perimeter of the cup leaving one tabbed section (production speed is up to 23 cups per minute when using this feature)

All packaging materials are developed specifically for use with the liquid unit dose packaging system. The materials are manufactured according to MPI’s specifications and have been utilized in successfully packaging liquids for more than twenty years.
