MPI’s Pak-EDGE® UD Barcode Labeling Software Version 2.0 is our proprietary barcode labeling software, designed for optimum performance with all of our medication and pharmacy packaging and labeling equipment. Included with the purchase of a new packaging system, Pak-EDGE® features an easy-to-use GUI, automatic backup, import tools, QR codes, and much more to meet customer demand.
Pak-EDGE® Included with MPI Package Systems
MPI’s Pak-EDGE® UD Barcode Labeling Software Version 2.0 can be used with our packaging equipment, including the Auto-Print® packaging system for oral solids, Fluidose® Series 6 packaging system for oral liquids, Pharmacy Accessory Bagging System (PABS) for overwrapping, and Pharmacy Accessory Label Printers (PALP) for professional label printing with thermal transfer. Utilizing multiple MPI machines for new label printing and overwrapping allows customers to manage data through one convenient interface.
First Databank License
Customers have the option to add a First Databank subscription to their Pak-EDGE® UD Barcode Labeling Software. With this additional database connectivity, users can scan bulk medication to automatically populate drug data and image files from the database. This information from the subscription database field includes:
